So, Sew!

I'm gathering fabrics for a new quilt, and I'm starting it this afternoon: grays, black, cream, and purplish. Life is better when I've spent time driving that sewing machine.

And the first bid came in for my deck, and I can actually afford it. . . . especially since I'll be going back to work just a little.

Reality

I've been home for a little over a month now, and reality is setting in:

I need to have repairs done around my home -- a deck is dry-rotting as I write.
And that's not all: a support beam holding up the HOUSE is cracking.
I need to get enrolled in a health care supplemental and I spent hours on the phone this morning with Medicare.

Take me back to G Town where I could safely ignore all of this!!!

What next?

Family Time

Miss C and Mrs T came for a visit, so we had a family dinner on Sunday.
Hooray! Miss C got to meet her H relatives.

When you leave your home for two years, the landscaping takes a beating.
N came twice and has begun whipping it into submission.

Our three generations.
Can you believe that Mrs T is old enough for her 20th high school reunion?
