Kansas on I-70: rolling hills in the east growing flatter as one travels west.

The oil wells surprised me.
We overnighted in Hays and ventured on to Denver.
J is staying with her high school friend, I'm staying with my former New Jersey friend now Denver friend. It feels good to stop for a couple days.
