MERRY CHRISTMAS

It's Christmas Eve and the snow is still on the ground. The weathermen have said 23" fell here. It's still beautiful, freezes at night; it's just difficult to get in and out of one's parking place. The plowing has created banks along the road to crowd your car in.

Mrs. T is home today, so she and Miss C made a snowman to keep the one we made yesterday company. Maybe we'll make a crowd!

Miss C likes the carrot nose and stick arms.

Block play under the Christmas tree. We made houses for all Miss C's friends.

Big Snow

The big storm that hit the Mid-Atlantic states hit us in GTown.
It snowed all day yesterday, and today we found this:
Miss C is trying out her snow legs.

My little car is snowed in.

Marshmallow Table and Chairs on the porch

So yesterday as the storm was raging, I stayed in and made things!

Another toy for the Christmas Toy Drop 09 for the Toy Society

A star for the top of the tree, a set of Christmas napkins,
and a pink stocking for Miss C:

Christmas Toy Drop

Mrs T helped me drop this bear for the Toy Society's 2009 Christmas Drop.
Check out their website to see how many toys will be dropped this weekend.
Mrs T took it on the train with her to Center City and dropped it at the train station.
I hope someone finds it to enjoy.

We may have snow tonight or tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Pig Tails

There are just barely enough wisps of blond to make pig tails. . . .

Do you love it?

New Hope

There's a new guy in my group of friends, and I got to meet him yesterday in New Hope. J who went with me to WADC for the inauguration is engaged to S from Denver. They have set a wedding date; and the love just oozes out of them. Hooray!

On our way home, Miss C and I sang Christmas songs. After hearing, "Up on the Housetop," she decided that she would like Santa to bring her a bunny: purple or yellow, with a baby bunny in the pocket.

N's art and music

The glass wall of the Whatcom Art Museum

Son N continues to create in multiple areas: playwright, artist, musician. He is writing, directing, and producing a one hour sketch comedy to be presented in January. His band has a gig tomorrow night, and his latest art work delights.

We visited the new Whatcom Art Museum. A wonderful new building with a great opening exhibit. Nice day in the 'Ham.
