This time, it's MY birthday -- the big, "you are qualified for Medicare" birthday. And I don't feel any older! I had a lovely day starting with a huge surprise: a bird mobile made for me by Mrs T with technical help from Mr T. I now have three branches of lovely patchwork birds looking over my shoulder above my desk.
More phone calls than usual filled my afternoon, then we went out to dinner at a Mexican place. The food was so-so, but the outing was fun. Miss C enjoyed the live music and the liveliness of the place. Cake waited until Saturday, spreading out the celebration, and cards are coming still. Thank you, friends!
